Our thoughts continue to be with you, your families and everyone in our communities during COVID-19 and these uncertain times. I have had the opportunity to speak with several of you over the past couple of months and sincerely appreciate your time.
Thank you to everyone that attended our virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 26th and to your continued participation and contribution to the ACFE Vancouver Chapter. During the next couple of months, we will be adding short weekly updates with information, resources, and training to address fraud and other current and emerging issues. We hope to commence with our usual networking events in September. Unfortunately, due to current circumstances we decided to cancel the Cascadia Fraud Conference in Whistler this October and will reconsider rescheduling the event for 2021. We still currently have several events scheduled in Vancouver this fall and will review these events over the next couple of months as the current situation evolves.
Shortly you will receive a weekly email communication from the ACFE Vancouver Chapter advising of new information and resources that have been posted on the website. Several people advised that they are being overwhelmed with webinars and online meetings, so we have decided to post the recording and resources for your self-paced viewing as desired. We will also be adding the related contact information so you can reach out for additional information at any time. We think you will find the resources interesting and insightful and please let us know if there is any topic that you would like to see covered.
