    The CFE Vancouver Chapter is pleased to provide the following training event in Vancouver:

    Several themes come to mind when we think about the 21st Century Anti-fraud professional including innovation, collaboration, efficiency, communication and continuous improvement. In response to the continuous feedback from our membership we are proving several requested training topics at this event including further deception detection training and expert report preparation.

    Afternoon Training Topic

    Fraud Detection: An Introduction to Deception – This four-hour session introduces deception detection, and body language in the world we live in. The training session begins with a look at micro-expressions and then moves onto verbal and para-verbal indicators of deception, as well and non-verbal indicators of deception. Practical exercises and examples are shown of individuals being deceptive to provide participants an opportunity to practice these skills. The training session ends with a look at cultural norms in body language to assist you in spotting lies in a multi-cultural setting.
