Our thoughts continue to be with you, your families and everyone in our communities during COVID‐19 and these uncertain times. First and foremost, we are here for you and please do not hesitate to contact the ACFE Vancouver Chapter Board or myself directly if you have any questions or concerns via my email and direct number listed below. As well, thank you for your feedback regarding our short weekly updates with information, resources, and training to address fraud and other current and emerging issues.
We will continue to do this for the next couple of months and hope to commence with our usual networking events in September at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver. As I previously mentioned, due to current circumstances we decided to cancel the Cascadia Fraud Conference in Whistler this October and will reconsider rescheduling the event for 2021. We still currently have several events scheduled in Vancouver this fall and will review these events as the current situation continues to evolve following the British Columbia restart plan guidelines.
Please continue to check the ACFE Vancouver Chapter website resources located in the link page for new resources that have been posted on the website. We think you will find the resources interesting and insightful and please let us know if there is any topic that you would like to see covered. Do not forget that the Virtual ACFE Global Fraud Conference in taking place from June 22 ‐24th and you can still register at this time.
Finally, we want to thank all of you for your continued participation in helping the ACFE Vancouver Chapter grow. We will endeavour to the continued development of the Chapter over the coming year with new resources and relevant professional development opportunities for you.
