Topic Summary: This presentation will be an introductory examination of the revolutionary technology known as blockchain and ways blockchain can be potentially used to prevent fraud. From smart contracts, supply chain control and verification to identity fraud prevention. Will blockchain technology make fraud a thing of the past?  

Speaker: MaRi Eagar is the Chair and a Founder of DigitalFutures, a visionary digital transformation consultancy focusing on innovation in fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, and TAOs (Tokenized Asset Offerings). She is an executive coach to blockchain entrepreneurs, investors, and advisor to select projects including helping to launch the first bitcoin ATM in the world in Vancouver in 2013.
